Pinhole camera – type 55 (MK II)

This is one of several pinhole cameras I made awhile ago using a 4×5 polaroid back. This one is a wide angle version of around 65mm focal length. Notice it sports a special anti-flare lens attachment, and has its’ factory original camera-tape finish still intact. Normally the way I would shoot with it was to mount it on a baby plate and rig that onto an arm or a grip head and then use a C-stand as a tripod. The shutter consists of a black velvet covered card and a stopwatch. The camera body is a used 4×5 film box. The lens is created through a special proprietary manufacturing process. (I use a sharp drywall screw to punch a small hole in a soft piece of brass, then sand the back smooth to make a nice round hole.) Just point, and shoot.
